The Azimut 85 is a small ship with multiple living spaces. In this case, we choose to keep same design and colour over multiple seating areas, bow and upper deck.
To break up the coulour and to lock each section of the upholstery together, we’ve used a traditional saddle stitch with a slighlty different shade of coulour. With this method, the stitching itself become a feature, bringing some extra volume to the vinyl upholstery.
By making the design of the squabs more square in appearance, it enabled us to thicken the upholstery giving a more robust style.
Choosing a neutral colour also enables the owner to get creative with throws and cushions by adding a range of colours, depending on the mood, the season or the occasion.
