Boom Bag and Boom Tent
The Boom Bag is manufactured using 100% solution dyed Yacht Acrylic canvas with marine-grade PVC wear patches at high-contact areas. It features heavy marine-grade plastic zips and 316 stainless steel fittings. Inside, 16mm solid fiberglass battens provide rigidity and distribute loads evenly. Lazy jack attachment points transfer stress directly to the battens, protecting the bag’s fabric. The bag is slightly oversized for easy sail drop and improved airflow to prevent mould.
A heavy-duty marine zip along the bottom edge connects the Boom Bag to the Boom Tent, ensuring a secure, weatherproof seal. The Boom Tent, reinforced with 600g marine-grade PVC at stress points, protects deck gear and rigging from UV, rain, and bird droppings and it also can be used when on board to reduce heat in summer and to allow hatches to be open in rain. It fastens with marine-grade clips or stainless steel hardware and comes with a storage bag for convenience.
