Dinghy covers are normally made from Sunbrella Yacht Acrylic or WeatherMax. They are custom made and designed to give protection from all-weather condition and enclose the top half of the boat completely.
The part of the cover protecting the outboard is lined with a nonabrasive material on the inside so not to scratch cowling.
Marine-grade PVC is also used for reinforcing at wear points and to add strength where required.
