Boom Bag and Overall Weather Protection Cover
The Boom Bag is manufactured using 100% solution dyed Yacht Acrylic canvas with marine-grade PVC wear patches at high-contact areas. It features heavy marine-grade plastic zips and 316 stainless steel fittings. Inside, 16mm solid fiberglass battens provide rigidity and distribute loads evenly. Lazy jack attachment points transfer stress directly to the battens, protecting the bag fabric. The bag is slightly oversized for easy sail drop and improved airflow to prevent mould.
The overall protection cover zips to the Boom Bag and extends over the entire deck, securing to the lifelines or stanchions. Made in three zipped sections—for bow, midship, and stern—it offers flexible use and full protection from sun, rain, salt, and bird droppings. Reinforced in high-stress areas, it’s made from breathable WeatherMax canvas with marine-grade fittings and includes a storage bag.
