Overall Cover — Italia Yachts 9.98 Bellissima

Full overall protection cover for an Italia Yachts 9.98 Bellissima on a mooring in Lake Macquarie — and our first project in the area.

Our customer chose one of Ocean Covers’ most popular solutions to protect their 9.98 Bellissima: a custom WeatherMax overall weather protection cover.

Overall covers run from bow to stern, sitting over the boom and securing to the stanchions. Marine-grade zips allow a clean fit around the mast and topping lift. Everything underneath — deck gear, halyards, sheets, winches and hatches — is protected from UV exposure, salt and bird damage while the boat sits on its mooring.

The cover is manufactured in three sections — bow, midship and stern — all zipping together into one continuous unit.

This is an approach we often recommend for larger covers: easier to fit and to handle even in windier conditions. It also allows the midship section to be used independently when needed — as a shade cover at anchor, or to keep hatches fully open in wet weather without water entering the cabin.

We used WeatherMax 80 throughout — our material of choice for overall covers. Excellent UV resistance, durability, water-repellent performance, fully breathable and extremely light!
